The Written Student Learning Plan
Whether you’re new to homeschooling or an old pro, the WSLP can seem a bit daunting. It really needn’t be. In response to numerous parent requests, we’ve created some parent-friendly instructions and simplified grade level expectations to get you started. Start by reading the basic
instructions below. If you need more assistance, click on your child’s grade level and check out the listed goals, possible resources, and means of measurement. You can even cut and paste specific goals if you would like. These goals reflect the same ideas as the state’s Essential Academic Learning Requirements. As you get the hang of it, we’re certain you’ll find it natural to align your goals with the state's, but feel free to ask for help from your WSLP teacher at any time.
